Can anyone have Powder Brows done?

Powder Brows or Ombre Powder is an ideal option for all skin types, unlike Microblading (as long as the skin is healthy and acne free)

How long do the brows last?

The procedure is semi-permanent and your results last approximately 1 – 3 years, depending on your skin type, beauty products and environmental factors. Powder Brows is typically a 2 step procedure with the initial appointment and the touchup session around 8-12 weeks later. This ensures that the color is locked in and doesn’t leave the skin completely.

How long does it take to heal?

Healing should take more or less 7-14 days. However, this could differ from person to person. You will expect to see the full results after a month

How soon after can I have a touch up?

We recommend a minimum of 4-6 weeks after the first session to allow the skin to heal completely before another session. Forcing another session before this duration will cause a high risk for scarring

You and your artist will discuss which colors suit you based on your natural lip color. Do's and Don'ts before a lip blushing appointment?

DO: Bring pictures/lipsticks in order to show to your cosmetic tattoo artist the color that you want. Take a preventive tablet on the day of the appointment if you are prone to coldsores. DON’T: Consume alcohol, caffeine, fish oil, Vitamin E, aspirin and ibuprofen as they cause the blood to thin and will result of more bleeding during the procedure.

Do's and Don'ts after a lip blush tattoo session

DO: Use a lot of lip balm to keep your lips moisturized. Plan a follow up appointment with your permanent makeup artist. DON’T: Pick your scabs. Never! Also, avoid sun exposure and workouts for around 2 weeks. Do not eat spicy food in the 48 hours following the session.

There is a week dry heal. Some puffiness can be normal for right after and the following couple of days.

microshading / powder / ombre brows

Powder Brows are permanent tattoo using a powder “look” technique which implants pigments into the epidermis/dermis layer. Results are lighter in color at the front of the brow and gradually get darker towards the end of the tail which resembles a make up look. This technique is achieved with a tattoo machine and needle. The end result can be very light and subtle to more filled in and darker makeup look.

Ideally, most people will really benefit from the touch-up session. But for some who are unable to do so because of geographical limitations, we highly recommend the powder brow procedure because it heals more consistently and less patchy than microblading therefore an urgent need for a retouch is not as necessary in most cases. Powder brow covers a bigger surface area because of the full shading and the higher amount of ink that is implanted into the skin.

lip blush / dark lip neutralization

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the lips’ natural tint and shape, giving them a boost and a glossy touch. It’s designed to define and outline your lips, not to actually make them fuller. It gives the illusion that they’re fuller, but in a very natural way. It’s more or less like microblading for your lips!

Dark Lip Neutralization is a specialized treatment series for those with cool or dark lips in which we neutralize the darkness in the lips to reach a desired color. We look at your lips and neutralize them by cancelling out the original color. With dark lip neutralization, we include the initial appointment as well as 2 touch ups, if needed. Each session is spread out at least 6 weeks apart. It may take 1-3 sessions to achieve your look, and there are special cases in which additional sessions are needed. Typically, we will do dark lip neutralization in those who are Fitzpatrick Scale 3 and up. Permanent lip liner and lip color treatments can improve the appearance of lips for both women and men. It helps the lips to appear more defined and fuller, without surgery or fillers. These lip treatments can also aid in restoring color to lips that are too pale or need that extra something!

Your lips will look swollen and slightly larger than normal and look as though you may have had a slight lip filler injection. The degree of this varies from person to person. The pigment and lip color will look darker initially, like a bold lipstick. The size of your lips will shrink back to normal and the color will significantly fade up to 50% within the first 4 days. You will lose color on the inside of your lips first, the edges last. Right after the procedure lips normally feel dry, chapped, tight and tender to the touch. Similar to how a sunburn feels.

lash line enhancement / eyeliner tattoo

Lash enhancement tattooing is the process of applying pigment via tattoo needle to your lash line and is designed to create an effect of darker and fuller eyelashes.

A few things to keep in mind before scheduling your appointment NO FAKE LASHES – they have to be removed at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment and can not be put back on till 2 weeks after your touch up. NO lash serums for at least 10 days prior, and must wait 2 weeks after touch up to continue using. No lash lifts/tints at least 10 days prior, and must wait 2 weeks after touch up. No Blepharitis (eyelid infection, usually caused by poor makeup removal habits and falsies) Eyelid surgery needs to be a minimum of 6 months prior to receiving this service. Surgery on the actual eye itself needs a note from doctor

POST PROCEDURE Use one wipe pad every hour for the first 4 hours after your procedure and then implementing 10 days of dry healing (This means that your eyes cannot get wet at all). It would be best to wash/cleanse your face with a washcloth or wipes for these 10 days. No creams or makeup directly on the eyes (including mascara) Avoid sweating (no hot yoga, and the sauna for 10 days)

No direct sun exposure. Be sure to wear sunglasses or a wide brimmed hat if you’ll be in the sun.

Do NOT pick at the scabs, peel your scabs off, or scrub the area. This can result in scarring and will affect your overall retention of the pigment. Day 1 – May be some swelling by the end of the day. Clients may apply ice over clean cloth but not directly on skin. Day 2 – May be some swelling, but should go down by the end of this day or the next. Day 3 – Skin May feel dry, this is normal. VERY SMALL Amount of coconut or grape seed oil may be applied but very carefully and not in excess. Day 4 onward – Continue to keep area dry and free of makeup/products until scabs are gone. Between Appointments, be careful not to use creams/ products that contain acids or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the skin.
